If you love air shows, you’ll be pleased to hear that 2023 is packed full of them throughout the year!
Perhaps the biggest air show taking place over the coming twelve months is the ever-popular EAA AirVenture event in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. In 2023, this show will run on the 24-30 July and it is, without doubt, one of the best air shows in the world and one of the largest, with thousands of aircraft participating each year.
The Experimental Aircraft Association, the organisation behind the air show, first held gatherings for fans of house construction. The air show currently draws professional aircraft and even warbirds, although maintaining a strong DIY ethos and featuring many home projects.
Another very popular show is the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum’s World War II Weekend, in Reading, Pennsylvania, which runs from 02-04 June 2023.
The Mid-Atlantic Air Museum’s World War II Weekend, which features only vintage aircraft, is the best air show a true history lover can attend.
Every year, over the first weekend in June, the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum hosts a display of World War II warbirds.
If you’re lucky, you might even find HSM Aviation, or even our friends at Red Box Aviation, attending some of these incredible events, where we are likely to be showing off our fantastic range of ground support equipment.
